This gorgeous Wildwood Troubadour has a curly maple neck, rock maple block rim and tubaphone tone ring. It is in very, very good shape, with the minor exceptions of some wear to the head and armrest, and a small nick in the finish on the binding over the 2nd fret. There is some slight fret wear on the first three frets, and none visible after that. The excellent inlay work in abalone and mother of pearl combined with a great piece of curly maple on this neck make it a beautiful instrument. Its' tone is loud and projecting yet warm and subtle at the same time; a very cool combination of old time sound with modern functions and playablilty. The action is currently set at 7/64ths at the 12th fret with a 5/8" bridge, with a fresh set of phosphor bronze GHS mediums.
